Michael - Executive Director and Shirley - Board Members, have been married over 37 years and have raised four children.  All their kids are married and active in Christian ministry.  Altogether they have eight grandchildren.  They are current members of West Lansing Church of Christ where Michael serves an an elder.

For fifteen years Michael was a senior pastor in various churches. Currently Michael and Shirley reside in Lansing, Michigan where, for ten years, Michael has taught writing courses part-time at a Lansing Community College. He has published over twenty-five magazine articles and is currently working on a book about the street kids.  Now his heart is working as an advocate for the kids at risk.
